Rollin' Down the River

After Ella's first official tummy to back roll, she appeared to have lost interest in rolling.  That all changed today when she discovered the roll from back to front...apparently, that was way more exciting.  Once she completed her first roll this morning, it was full steam ahead for the rest of the day!  She rolled on her mat, in the crib, on her blanket; we're just lucky it didn't happen on the changing table.  Of course, once she landed on her tummy, she was not too pleased as she was faced with the less enjoyable tummy to back roll.  A challenge for another day...

Rollin' Rollin' Rollin'!

Ella is officially a roller! She's gone from tummy to back two days in a row. Last week was the first time she did it since the fluke incident when she was 10 days old. I guess she was gearing up when she slept through the night this week...

It's the Little Things...

We were having breakfast this morning and Ella was sitting in her vibrating chair because she likes to be included in mealtime.  Suddenly, we heard music playing!  Todd pointed out that Ella had pulled one of the mobile toys that prompts music.  Luckily, our breakfast companion (Drew) is also a parent, so he could understand our excitement at the little things...

Ella's First Giggle

Ella had her first giggle last night!  She was in her favorite place (the changing table), it was fussy hour, and mom and dad were taking turns zurberting her stomach.  She let loose a double squeal and we were both there to hear it.  It was fantastic!
